As a reader, it has not been difficult for me to move from wealth management to the publishing world.
I find, in addition to the pleasure of human encounters, the same values as are, trust, listening, analysis, the choice of partners and finally the project management to take.
An author at Terhoma is a creative client to whom I bring all the necessary attention to the development of a joint editorial project. This project must be in perfect harmony with its expectations, the requirements of Terhoma and take into account all the players in the book market and therefore the competition.
Before starting my job, I had to learn about the book industry and its rules. I also had to meet booksellers, people in charge of libraries and media libraries.
But selling a book is also having the obligation to give it maximum visibility, a presence in the press. A bookstore, either modest or very important, can not take anything. A new author is above all a multitude of questions and the unknown.
If in the past, my clients gave me their trust for, sometimes, the management of a wealth of millions of euros, I do not see why, an author and a bookseller would not do the same.
I feel that this editorial work, despite all the difficulties, is rich in challenges and will be just as much in human adventures.
